WELCOME TO HUDSON LONGHORNS

We are located in Southern Indiana where we maintain a herd of over 200 Longhorn females. We have been raising registered Texas Longhorns since 2003 and we are as passionate today as we have ever been about our Longhorns. We own a collection of elite Longhorns and we are always working hard to make our herd even better. We own some of the greatest herd sires in the industry and we also A.I. with certain bloodlines that we think match well, in order to breed up to our objectives. We also maintain a sizable herd of recip cows and we are committed to our embryo program as we continue to flush some of the best cows in the industry with the best bulls. We were recently honored to have been awarded the TLBAA 2024 Dave Evans Breeder of the Year Award. We are very grateful for the recognition and the honor, especially because this came from our peers.

We also do a big marketing event each year called the Fort Worth Stockyards Longhorn Auction. Here we auction off about 90 very elite/high end Texas Longhorns. This coming sale will be held on May 22 - 23, 2026. This sale is held at the River Ranch, right in the heart of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.
